Asociación – Centro de Investigación Cooperativa en Nanociencias – CIC nanoGUNE
NGU is a multidisciplinary, non-profit research centre performing world-class basic and applied nanoscience research, and it is one of the leading centres in its field in Spain. The research areas cover a broad spectrum of topics in physics, chemistry, biosciences, and engineering disciplines. Currently, NGU hosts almost 100 employees and about 30 guest researchers clustered around ten research groups.
Main tasks: Identification, mapping, and characterization of spin radicals in graphene systems; spins interactions, and electronic transport through model systems;
Expertise/profile: Low temperature scanning tunnelling spectroscopy, including spin-sensitive methods to identify and characterize spin states in molecular open shell systems; OSS of graphene nanoribbons; single molecule transport measurements.
