NanoGUNE Researcher Niklas Friedrich Clinches GEFES 2023 Award for Outstanding Experimental Thesis on Graphene Nanoribbons

Niklas Friedrich has won the GEFES 2023 Award for the best experimental thesis. The Condensed Matter Physics Division (GEFES) of the Spanish Royal Society of Physics (RSEF) has honored Niklas Friedrich, a researcher from nanoGUNE’s Nanoimaging Group who has contributed to SPRING, with the prize for the best experimental doctoral thesis in condensed matter physics. His awarded thesis is titled “Electronic transport through suspended graphene nanoribbons using a scanning tunneling microscope.”
